Note
Though the conference is designed primarily for pastors and church leadership (elders, deacons, etc.); seminary professor and students, are welcome. We do not seek to provide this just to the men who are currently pastors but also to those are potentially the next generation of pastors. If you have any question whether that includes you please pray then call 603-391-7580. We have yet to say no to anyone who has prayed about coming.
What is included?
That is the question raised by every true New Englander. Let's start with all meals, snacks, soda, coffee, fruit, and stuff for two days. Add to that free books and video the value of which easily pays for the conference. And if thst is not enough, add to that a bookstore that is designed for pastors 4-5 times the size of last year.
God willing, we will even have copies of Owen Strachen recently released books; which have been endorsed by Mark Dever, Al Mohler, DA Carson, and many, many more. (Owen is one of our own, originally from East Machias, ME.
So, our hope is to treat the pastors of New England like kings for two days. The two criteria is that you must be registered to attend and you must be present to receive the free items or "special deals.".
The question "I am a pastor and would like to bring ..." do they have to register. The answer to that is yes. I hope what was stated above answers why.
Should you need lodging, rooms have been reserved at:
1. Best Western Executive Court Inn - at 89.99 per night. To make a reservation please call 877-627-2525 and mention "NECEP" to get the group rate. (Best Western has a shuttle service to Manchester Airport 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM.)
2. Sleep Inn - has similarly reserved rooms at $75.00 per night. To make a reservation call (603) 425-2100 and mention "NECEP" to get the group rate. (Their 800 number (866) 753-3764 was taken out by an ice storm and simply rings forever.)
A block of rooms has been reserved and these rates will be available until April 1, 2010. After April 1 the rate will be available if they have not rented out the rooms as yet.
3. Stillmeadows B&B - One minute from Island Pond Baptist Church.
